Developing Frontline Leaders with a Program from the John Maxwell Team programs

The qualification our program is linked to is the BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management qualification which reflects the role of individuals who take the first line of management in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts.

They may have existing qualifications and technical skills in any given vocation or profession, yet require skills or recognition in supervisory functions. Typically they would report to a manager.

At this level frontline managers provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes.

Program Outline – 40 Weeks

The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership
  • Week 1 a 6 hour Seminar
  • Weeks 2 to 8 Master Mind 2 hours per week
Everyone Communicates Few Connect
  • Week 9 a 6 hour Seminar
  • Weeks 10 to 14 Master Mind 2 hours per week
Strength Finders 2.0 by Tom Rath
  • Week 15 a 3 hour Seminar
  • Weeks 16 to 18 Master Mind 2 hours per week
Individual Coaching
  • Weeks 19 & 20
Become a person of influence
  • Week 24 a 6 hour Seminar
  • Weeks 25 to 30 Master Mind 2 hours per week
Leadership Gold
  • Week 31 a 6 hour Seminar
  • Weeks 32 to 40 Master Mind 2 hours per week

Assessment requirements

  • Participate in each of the 6 Hour Seminars
  • Attend at least 75% of the Mastermind groups
  • Complete a Project Assignment for each book
  • Read each if the John Maxwell books listed
  • All participants would be required to build a personal profile of evidence.
  • 102 Hours for activities and assessment portfolio development and presentation.

Part of our target is existing workers who qualifies for a Training Contract Funding where the employer receives $1,500 at the commencement of the training and $2,500 at the completion of the qualification. The Australian Federal Government incentives of up to $4,000 per person may be available for employers.

Qualification to be issued: BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management

Program cost is $2,500

Participant may include:

  • People wanting to improve their knowledge and Skills for promotion
  • People returning to the workforce
  • Current workers in industries where leadership and management skills are required
  • Work full time or part time / casual work minimum 20 hours per week.
  • Have access to their workplace policies and procedures
  • Has their employer’s support to be able to would permanently or casual in one of the following roles:
    • Team Leader
    • Supervisor of 5 or more team members
    • Leading hand with 5 or more team members.
  • Security Employees
  • Construction Employees
  • Retail Employees
  • Medium to Large workplaces where more than 5 people are supervised
  • Existing Workers who are wanting to develop their Leadership Skills.

    (2 Hours per week)
