Evidence Profile each Applicant needs to provide

You MUST cover each of the points of evidence for your RPL application.

(Note: Please provide a copy of each evidence point or you can work with your Training Manager / Head of VET to gather this evidence)

For each POINT (Pt.) you need to identify each document supplied with a reference e.g. In Point 3 all documents are to be marked Pt 3 in Top Right corner of Documents

Evidence provided to ProSkills needs be Authentic: Candidate contributed to a substantial manner in the process, and evidence provided reflects skills and knowledge that the candidate possesses.

  1. A copy of Training Qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Vocational Education/ Diploma of Training and Assessment, etc)
    (It is an advantage to provide a copy of your transcripts of Academic Records to show relevance to your qualification)
           
  2. A CV outlining their qualification, experience, current & previous roles and responsibilities
           
  3. Copy of certificates in reference to attendance at Australian Qualification Framework seminars or workshops.
    (Can include workshop outline).
           
  4. A copy of evidence of the Trainer’s experience or qualification in Workplace Health and Safety
    (This does not have to be a certified course. This can be the Evidence of the Trainer’s involvement in the workplaces WH&S program and how the assure a safe learning environment within their class. This must be certified by the organisation's OH&S Officer)
            
  5. Understands the requirements and works effectively within the vocational education and training environment
    List the curriculum/industry environment area involved (e.g. Business Administration, Hospitality, Retails etc.)
           
  6. Uses Training Packages in ways that meets clients’ needs. List the following:
    Make sure the evidence in this point is not for an accredited course.
    Make sure you identify the National Training Package and then the Qualification (Not an Accredit Course)
    a) National Training Package Code
    b)
    National Training Package Title
    c)
    Qualification Title
    d) Qualification Code
    e) Provide a printout of the qualifications rules for this qualification from the selected National Training Package.
           
  7. Designs and develops learning programs.
    Provide 2 learning programs that the candidate has developed (or has substantially contributed to.)
    The learning programs MUST include detailed program delivery plans.
    (One program MUST be from a National Training Package, the other program may be for an Accredited Course at Certificate II level or higher).
           
  8. Provide a report on how you have been involved workplace facilitation and how it is conducted or simulated.
    (Include how learning pathways through the qualification and training package is documented. Also include details of career advice is provided to participants and training needs are identified before participants commences training)
           
  9. Design effective training materials.
    Provide a copy of 2 sets of training materials
    Make sure full instructions (lesson/session plans) for the training materials are provided.
           
  10. Conduct evaluation/review of learning programs/s on a regular schedule.
    Provide an evaluation/review report conducted by the candidate during the last 6 months.
           
  11. Plans and organises assessment activities and processes.
    a) Provide a copy of 2 SETS of assessment activities or processes the candidate has developed. (The assessment activities provided must cover the scope of at least 2 units of competency)
            
    b) Provide a copy of Assessment Activities developed for use in RPL/RCC process. This must be focused on RPL/RCC process for a whole unit of competency, at least. 
             
    (Make sure full instructions, benchmarking tools and marking guides are provided for each set of assessment activities provided)
             
  12. Conducts assessment in accordance to the AQTF standards and requirements of the Unit of Competency.
    a)
    Provide copies of assessments conducted. (including documentation supporting the assessment judgement made.)
             
    b)
    Provide evidence of RPL/RCC assessment that has been conducted (include documentation detailing the assessment judgement which was made).
             
  13. Participates in assessment validation (internal reviews) Provide a copy of an Internal Review Report from the candidate.
    Include mapping sheets, evaluation reports, a list of non – compliances and improvements notices and demonstrate how corrections / improvements were made. Make sure you provide one set of theory questions and at least one practical assessment activity, with mapping to a unit of competency and benchmarking for the theory questions and practical assessment activity.
             
  14. Provide a copy of a Training Needs Analysis which has been conducted
    (Show how RPL was identified and how Gap Training was planned and delivered).
    This can be in the form of training gaps being identified through a pre-assessment or RPL/RCC process and a subsequent training plan being developed to resolve the Training Gaps.
             
  15. Records, collates and stores assessment appropriately.
    Provide evidence on how you keep records, collate and store assessment documents. (This can be in the form of documenting the procedure/process you follow)
             
  16. A letter/repport from your Head of Department, or Supervisor validating your evidence.
    The letter/report must detail your current/past involvement in the Development of, Delivery of and Assessment of the VET recognised programs you have provided evidence for in this application.
             
  17. A copy of any other evidence that identifies the Trainer’s involvement in Vocational Training.
